STK Callout is the pickleball score keeper for open-play doubles. Tap the side that won the rally and your iPhone calls the score out loud: 4-2-1, every serve.
From the first serve to the last lesson of the night, this is how a day of doubles goes with STK Callout on the fence.

Prop the phone on the fence
The app opens on the court, ready to tap. The top half is one team, the bottom half is the other, and each half is the button. Quick Setup remembers your last game and the last eight names, so a repeat game is two taps: open it, Start.
8:52 am
First serve: zero, zero, two
Doubles starts on the second server, so the first call is 0-0-2. Try it here: tap the team that won each rally and watch the call change, the way it does on the court.

“Wait, what’s the score?”
A long dink rally, and nobody is sure any more. The call settles it: serving score, receiving score, server number, read before every serve. Tap the strip to hear it again, or hold it to see the last five calls.

Six points: switch sides
In a tournament-style game, STK Callout flags the switch when a side first reaches the midpoint, says it out loud, and one key flips the halves so the phone still matches the court.

Game. Rotate partners.
The game is saved the moment it ends: winners, final score, length and every rally. Next game keeps the same partners; Rotate moves everyone one place. Today keeps the whole session in order, with who you played with.

On the couch: one lesson
Scoring Coach has five two-minute lessons: who serves first, what 0-0-2 means, side out vs point, the second server and when to switch. Watch the rally on a mini court, pick the call, earn XP. A lesson day keeps your court-day streak alive.

What it does every rally
It reads every call out loudPlain numbers or Referee style, slow, normal or fast. It speaks over the silent switch and lowers your music while it talks.
It knows who serves, and from whereFirst server, second server, side out, the serving box by the score, and the switch at 6, 8 or 11 when your preset has one.
It keeps your court-day streakA 21-day chain, a weekly goal from 1 to 7 court days, your win rate with each partner and your longest run of points.
Scoring rules, answered
Serving team’s score, receiving team’s score, then the server: 1 for the first partner to serve, 2 for the second. 4-2-1 means the serving side leads 4 to 2 on its first server.
So the side that serves first doesn’t get two servers on its first turn. The game starts as if the first server is already used: one serve, then side out.
When the first server’s side loses a rally, the partner serves next as server 2. When server 2 loses, it’s a side out and the other team serves, starting from the right-hand court.
The serving pair swaps courts each time it wins a point; receivers never move. STK Callout lights the server’s box, and even scores serve from the right.
In tournament play, once, when a side first reaches 6 in a game to 11 (8 in a game to 15, 11 in a game to 21). Rec games usually don’t switch; pick the preset you play.
Yes. Rally scoring gives a point on every rally, with two numbers and a server dot. Singles uses two numbers, serving from the right on an even score.
4-2-1
Serving team’s score, receiving team’s score, then the server: 1 for the first partner to serve, 2 for the second. 4-2-1 means the serving side leads 4 to 2 on its first server.

Stored only on your device
Games, partner and opponent names, lesson progress, streaks and settings are saved on your iPhone. They are never uploaded. Clear history in Settings deletes them.
One device identifier
STK Callout uses Firebase Remote Config (by Google) to fetch its app settings, such as whether to show an occasional message at launch. Firebase creates a random installation ID for this. It is used only to make that feature work, is not linked to you and is not used to track you.
Nothing else
No location, contacts, microphone or photos. The voice is your iPhone’s own text-to-speech, spoken on the device. Scoring works with no connection at all.

Check that the Voice key on the court is blue and turn the volume up. The call plays even with the silent switch on. In Settings you can change the voice speed and style.
We tapped the wrong side
Tap Undo on the left of the Call Strip. It removes the last rally, and right after a game ends it reopens the game without its last rally. Edit result on the Game Over sheet fixes a final score.
The phone is in my pocket and keeps scoring
Turn on Pocket lock in Settings: a half then needs a short press instead of a tap. Keep the screen awake is in Settings too.
How do I end a game early or clear everything?
Settings has End this game while a game is on, and Clear history, which deletes games, lesson progress and recent names after a confirmation. Your settings stay.
Does it need the internet or an account?
No. There is no account, and scoring, voice, history and lessons work offline.
Is there an Android or Apple Watch version?
Not yet. STK Callout is for iPhone, in English, for players in the US and Canada.
